The Scientist
There has been so much happening lately. I have not been in class for one whole week, and counting. Starting from The National Robotics Competition (NRC) 2008 briefing, to the Schools Sports Day, nothing best describes me, and my current work as ‘multi-purpose’.
Maybe I should take Martin’s advice to quit education and go into the management line because it seems I am doing so much of that lately. For the NRC 2008 briefing, I was the the sole organizer for the whole programme. The school’s prize giving day saw me in charge of the multimedia presentation, and then, for this coming sports day… the PA system.. Imaging dealing with 3 different things, 3 unrelated things within two weeks!! Its really taking a huge toll on me. Mum is already complaining I have eye-bags, and saying I look super thinner than before, while my students are complaining that I’m not in class teaching them. *sigh* Talk about my core business… I am currently no where near it!
With the Sports Day coming tomorrow, and ending on Friday… I know whas next in store for me.. Exams!! I haven’t even prepared a freakin’ paper yet!! Arggghhhhhhh… another ‘overtime’ session I guess would be done next week. Hate doing school work at home. I always figured that my parents (whom are teacher’s also) sometimes work to hard when they bring their school work home, but now I know its not that they want to, but its because they are forced to. I mean, look at my blog?? Its neglected… My side income from blogging has dwindled so bad, I’m worried whether I can settle my bills and loans on time. If that’s not enough, I have a huge desire to get the Celcom broadband and also a new handphone!! but I guess, that will all have to wait, wouldn’t it??
Maybe I should be thankful that David and I can still do our Thursday ritual of hunting for new food avenues around Kuching. Nonetheless, for the past two weeks, it seems rather difficult due to me being so preoccupied. Anyway, just for you guys whom are interested to buy an AirAsia plane ticket. Why not go to the AirAsia’s office (in Kuching) at Jalan Padungan (if I’m not mistaken), and walk in.. I’m sure you you won’t be disappointed… like my buddies say.. “This I like“.. wuahahhaha….

You are doing well brader. Going into private Sector? Only when the day is doubly good and the perks are good. I have thought of going to the private sector and actually almost initiated my own private business (not related with my work). It was almost a disaster as the tricks out there are not like the ones in the managebook text books that we read.
