It's funny how the series misses a lot of characters and the drama of the manga series but it's still an entertaining abridged version. But the profession isn't easy. Out of the 10 teachers who completed my Master's program 4 years ago, only one other than myself is still teaching. Most have left because of issues with their ineffective and someimes hostile school administration. Personally, on that note, I see myself moving towards the realm of administration. I think the move is inevitable for any teacher who wqnts to do more beyond their classroom walls. Although some people consider it the "dark side," an effective and personable administration can encourage and support new teachers and make all the difference in the world regarding the school environment. Keep up the faith and determinate fortitude my friend....your words have been heard and understood in this lifetime. That's deep. I've never thought of it that way. Perhaps that's why most people who've taught students before find passion in teaching. It's like you said in the second last paragraph.
