I didn’t have time to blog about this but at the same time, I was also not sure whether I was right to make such a conclusion. Well, I guess, now I can make such a conclusion as the Star reported that there are no more Bidayuh’s in the Malaysian Cabinet.

Dr Tiki Lafe: Sole Bidayuh in Cabinet in the last 4 years

I know, a few years ago we had Dr Tiki Lafe, and with Sarawak’s huge win in the last elections, you’d just expect at least one of the few Bidayuh MP’s to b elected at the federal level, or at least for the post of deputy minister, but NOoooOO… So much of the hope of looking at a multiracial cabinet from Pak Lah. SO much of looking for a hope for someone to stand-up for the Bidayuh’s which I would like to remind you is the second largest ethnic Dayaks in Sarawak after the Ibans….

argghh.. so who will look after the Bidayuh’s after this?? The PM?? yeah.. right… he’ll be busy.. Maybe it is a good idea to vote for DAP which said they want an Iban deputy Prime Minister for Malaysia. Maybe they would be thoughtful enough to even place one Bidayuh MP in the cabinet as a full minister. I’m not stating my preference of party, but like I said, I’ll vote for whom makes me happy… Guess there will be not much photo’s here… coz in the end, there’s not much point as the Bidayuh’s get close to NOTHING in the new cabinet line-up.. hmmm….
