Change
I think I’ll be making some changes in my blog. Yeah.. its not really ‘I think’.. Its ‘I will…’. I’m going to start giving short titles to every post. Yeah. Maybe just describing a ting with a word. Sort of like what I’m doing with the title of this blog. Change is good I guess….

In the recent days, nothing much has me blogging. Things seem to pick up in my school, and yet.. in the blogging arena.. it seems to have slowed down. I’m not sure why, but… hhmm……
Since the politics of Malaysia has been greatly highlighted by the media, there is a lot to say. I was hoping that DAP would give out bonuses amounting to RM6000 to Penangites, but soon found out that they say they could only do so when they control the federal government. Daaa!!!! I should have known better to trust words from politicians… They are all dirty! It would be interesting to see what they could do to make things better for Penang. Word of the mouth says that Penang would be Malaysia’s next Singapore.. errr.. so?? Great?? I don’t know.

As for the Independent Font or BN as we Malaysians call them, there has been a lot of talks of reformation. Some say that BN needs to dissolve all their racial based parties, and become only one huge, multi-ethnic party. I wonder whether this would benefit the Chinese, Indians and the Indigenous groups in Sabah and Sarawak. Its no secret that despite everything the government has said or maybe done… these minority groups remain optimistically certain that they are always considered the second class citizen’s, and in some cases, the victims of those in charge in the government. No need for me to elaborate, but I can say, the decreased in majority for BN is a sign… a HUGE sign that they want the same rights, and also the others, regardless of race and religion to feel the same pain they are feeling.

In Sarawak, it is a common practice to see native land being taken by the government to establish projects which are ’so called’ benefiting the state and people, but what was overlooked is the fact that most of these ‘taken lands’ belong to a certain group of people, or the minorities of Malaysia. In fact, most people know that votes for BN in Sarawak do come by due to the need of development in the rural areas, and the votes will keep on coming as long as there is a need for development. What happened in the Bandar Kuching parliamentary seat is a great example of what could happen in the rural areas in the next 10 years. With no more to ask, people are free to choose.. and if the elected leaders annoy and cheat their voters, the votes will sway to the next prefered candidate.

I am not a professional analyst, nor am I able to say so much about this topic because I am working under the government. I am not, by any way trying to put down the current government, or even thinking of supporting anyone. This is my two simple cents. All I actually want to say is that BN may not loose in Sarawak during the 2011 State Elections, but I do expect major losses in seats if BN does not start to address issues which are sensitive to the minorities… As for me, I’ll be voting for the best representative for my area… and I swear that I want someone whom can bring GOOD changes. After all… who says change is bad?? I like difference.. I told you here…

Yeah i agree, BN better take this wake-up call seriously or else the future is gonna look gloomy for them. That BN as a multi-ethnic party proposal sounds interesting. Heck, everything about the 12th GE results is interesting. =P Fingers are crossed!

>>>hahah.. yeah.. I LOVE TEH C PENG!!! good to know that your new blog is also entitled tehcpeng. Maybe we could make up a group of people whom loves TehCPeng… hehehe… I think a one party suggestion is good, with exception there is power rotation…. maybe every 15 years or so..coz 5 years(in Sabah CM’s rotation policy a few years back) is way too short.
