SAGA BLM: The Down-payment
This Is Cool… Check this out!!
I feel a little disappointed. No.. actually hugely disappointed. I think those close to me know how I hate promises to be broken… and I also find it kind of hard to swallow the fact that you could have something better, but due to wrong decisions, I have ended up at the loosing end. I know, I am wrong here, but its to late to cry over spilled milk. Yeah.. as the title suggest, this post is related to the Proton SAGA BLM which I actually booked a month ago.

After I booked the SAGA BLM, the salesman from Proton Edar Sdn Bhd actually said that we could negotiate about other related stuff like maybe getting my windows all tinted up (which I was made to understand would reach RM200), or maybe getting some rebate after the sales. Well.. now that the waiting list has gone to as long as August for the new car, and I will be among the few which would get the car this month, the deal has changed. The salesman said, he will only give me a full 40litre tank!!! WTF????? RM40×1.91=RM86.40!! Thats almost like half in difference!! His excuse was that Proton is only giving them RM300 per car. I said.. Okay… but then, I went to EON which also sells the SAGA BLM. And surprise surprise… he could easily offer me a whole body tint… and even give me a rebate of RM300!! At this point I was shocked. Damn!! But since its already to late, and I wouldn’t want to wait another 6 months for my car, I decided I’ll just take the car I have booked.

So, I went up to the dealer’s office, to pay for the deposit of my car. I looked around for my salesman just so that I can re-persuade him to give me more stuff… but he wasn’t around. When I rang him up, he said he was out. DaMN!! Macam sengaja ja.. because he knew I was coming… Finally, I ended up talking to the boss. The conversation was dull, and boring. But the boss was really nice to me, and well.. despite the boss agreeing to give me more free stuff like an umbrella (what do I need that for? I already have an umbrella), it really didn’t make a difference since it doesn’t involve the car directly. So.. damn again!!
Hmmm… I guess there is nothing much I can say now, but just accept what I will get from the salesman with an open heart. After all, I should feel blessed that I would be getting my car soon, and not another more month. However, I can’t relinquish that small feeling inside which seems rather worried over something I have found out about the Proton SAGA BLM. I know I am not really into superstitious stuff, but still, it bugs me. You see… they say.. A NEW SAGA BEGINS..

but they write A NEW SAGA BEGIN…. That’s faulty English!! To think of it, its sort of says.. “what we write on paper, and what we say about the car is not true. The original product is still the same old Proton, or faulty and problematic Proton“. Errrr, now I’m kind of worried…. but all I can do is pray and hope my Silver Proton SAGA BLM would be fine. *sigh*

Gosh…u got screwed? FIrst that Sponge Bob T-Shirt, now some unscrupulous salesman. Which Proton Branch did that to you and which salesman. Its your right to protect the others so that they would not be hoodwinked by liars like the ones you have encountered.

Oh, there is a new Saga?
And that was very observant of you to spot the mistake! Oooh, someone in Proton is going to get into trouble for that. Haha.

My uncle also booked one. I think he has got his. Not sure what color is it..
I would pissed of the salesman if he did that to me. I think you just talk directly to the salesman (without an appointment) and asked him to tint your car’s windows. Show him a piss face. It works you know. My aunty did that when the salesman suddenly said no more tinted glass for her. In the end, he tinted the whole Viva for her. *LOL*

>>> Definitely. But if you want to know about the car yourself.. I mean first hand.. check out their test drive. I actually liked the the experience driving it.

>>> hahah.. ya bet la.. they are worried you know if this car fails. Surely small mistakes will be rectified fast.

>>> I booked earlier.. I booked mine before the launch. Getting it real soon! I think I booked it on my birthday.. the 6th Jan. Just wait bro.. It won’t be long.

>>> This is what I don’t like about salesman.. Wish the consumers had more power. I think they should only get the down payment when you actually get the car. Your case is almost like mine.. but I guess yours is worst.

What dealership did you go to?? I’ll make sure never to go there.

Seriously, I don’t know.. but it seems salesman from Proton Edar gets less commision than EON. Maybe thats why the dealer cant give much.
Despite not getting any free gifts, the service provided was excellent.
