huhuhuhuhUHUHUhuhu… I’m not sure if I should be grateful that my student’s have found their way to my humble yet personal blog. I am still uncertain on how they could actually bump into such a low-key-ed blog such as mine. Yeah… in a way.. I say.. it helps.. financially… as they do seem to be clicking the ads… meaning more $$$$$ for me heheheh.. but with student’s reading my blog.. I know cdason[dot]com can’t be ‘personal‘ as it used to be. Maybe I should refrain from using such harsh words like F#$K!!, D%$N etc.. haah!! It ain’t happening. Its my blog.. and I will continue to spill out what I have to say here.

So what’s going on in my life? After a week long holiday recovering from my fever, flu and cough.. I am back with lots to do in school. Thankfully, the misery of having the flu and the fever is over, but somehow.. my cough still haunts me. Darn.. I wonder when my cough will stop. For the past few weeks, I have been a loyal consumer of Fisherman’s Friend (its kind of like hacks, just more expensive and without sugar.. if you didn’t know). I totally prefer sucking these small minty tablets. Uhhh.. yeah.. sucking is better than drinking some ineffective cough syrup.

I know… what I mentioned above seems just typically boring to say.. but that’s my life. Boring and irrelevant. Weird and different. I think that would sum up a lot of my life, but of course not my day time job. I still feel I’m too young to be working.. but I want the cash.. hahahah.. Who can refuse money?? Sometimes, I wonder what I would be doing if I wasn’t a teacher. Being a teacher has kind of changed me a little. I know, every job has its ups and downs…. The joys of teaching include being able see different situations everyday. You meet something new on a daily basis. Challenges come daily.. Its always revolving.. You learn new things daily. Really… I love challenges. It makes life less pathetic.

Of course, if I were to point out the bad sides of being a teacher, this post wouldn’t be enough. I think I’ll reserve my complaints for next year as my 2008 resolution is to complain less… hehhehe… I guess.. its my silent resolution coz I know I complain wayyy too muchhh!!!

Em.. There is one thing which actually caught me off guard within these few weeks, and I think all of those which has just started working should know about it. Its about credit cards.. (No… This is not one of those paid post I always do.. so please read on..).

You know those bankers or sales girls, or salesman which go around signing people for their “FREE FOR LIFE” credit cards?? Yeah.. those guys from banks.. saying you can actually sign up for their cards, and keep the card in your wallet/at home/or in the trash, while you just help them achieve their sales target. If you don’t get me.. I mean, those guys which frequently say “you have nothing to loose for signing up for their “FREE FOR LIFE” cards… “. Man.. I’m sure you get what I mean.

Well, I just found out that the more credit cards you have.. the more your financial burden. In other words, the more credit cards you have, the more unlikely you will get bank loans approved easily. hmmm… I actually found out about this while applying for the loan for my new car. I swear, I said ‘F&*K’ when I heard about this from my loan advisor!!! Argghh.. I must remove that habit!! But anyway… its that simple.. credit card promoters seem to purposely forget to mention about that small ‘thing’ when you apply for their cards. Some even ask you to get numerous cards from the same bank!!

I’m guessing, those like Desmond would know about stuff like this… but I think, newbies like me.. are kind of fools to overlook such a huge thing. I’ll tell you one thing… I immediately canceled my HSBC Visa card after knowing about this particular thing. Nowadays.. loans are approved without a guarantor, and I want to keep all my loans that way.. APPROVED WITHOUT A GUARANTOR. No point of troubling other people.. you get what I mea, right???

Oh ya.. I am going to launch two websites this Wednesday… One is the school’s Robotics website.. and the other is the school’s website. Thanks to Irene for helping me secure the domains.. hehehehe.. Check out the little poster’s I did for each sites… You can check em out by clicking on them.
