Good Morning Sir

Gosh.. It has been a while since I’ve blogged. I’ve been pretty preoccupied.. Ya.. Just like that NST TV commercial, which means I have been busy with stuff here and there. I guess, after complaining so much about so much work coming into my life in my post, I have learned to accept the fact that I can’t run from it, and I have to accept what ever is given to me. After all, when you work under someone, you don’t have much of an option, do ya??
I don’t know whether this is a seasonal kind of thing, but I got approached by two girls within this few days! Wow!! I’m suppose to feel all excited and stuff because its very unlikely that the opposite sex comes up to me and says ‘Hi’! Forget about saying ‘Hi’. They don’t even look at me when I pass by… Owh, who am I kidding… I’m no Brad Pitt, or David Beckham, or nowadays.. Christiano Ronaldo. I’m just my ordinary boring self.

So, what’s up with this two girls?? They actually both looked really presentable, and one was kind of cute… But when they said “Good morning sir“… I just knew what it was all about. SALES GIRLS!!! Oh come on.. Only two kinds of people comes up to me and say.. “Good morning Sir“.. One would be my dear students… and when they look a little older, and hold some pretty flashy brochures between their breast and arms.. its would be those in sales. Somehow, it reminded me of those sales assistants in the Philippines which kept saying “Goodmorning Mam… ” until I found it really annoying (Err.. I haven’t blogged about this yet, have I?? ), although I knew that they were more polite than any sales assistants in Malaysia which seemed to enjoy stalking you the minute you walk into their their shop.

To cut a long story short.. one approached me selling 3 pairs of unbranded socks for RM10, while the other came up asking me to sign up for credit cards. Anyway, I ended up with 3 pairs of socks, and no credit card application. To be honest, I pity the girl asking me to sign up for her credit card because she kind of begged me to help her achieve her sales target. What more, she says she was an ex-student of my school. *sigh* I think, at moments like this, I just tend to think that “business is business“, so I declined no matter how she pleaded. Still, I feel bad….
Em, I just realized.. January would be ending soon.. arrhhh…. its like time is moving so darn fast, and I haven’t even done anything which says “I HAVE DONE THIS!!” written all over it. D@MN!! Now, I really wished I could do the “Hiro Nakamura” thing.

My dad falls for these sales girls’ tactics all the time. End up buying lots and lots of things or signing for stuff that we don’t actually use. Haha, i think i wouldn’t know what to do myself… but i don’t bring that much cash around, so sorry lah. Haha!
I was wondering why girls were approaching you suddenly, like maybe Valentine’s is coming and they are looking for special someones. Haha, salesgirls actually. Nevermind, from your MyBlogLog picture, i think you’re quite good looking (no no, i’m not gay!), the females will come soon!
BYE! I wouldn’t mind Hiro’s power either. No wait, i want Syler’s power. XD
p.s. Good morning mam?? To guys?

Yup…life is hard for those who are selling credit cards…the market is kinda saturated with all kinds of credit cards now. They do not think outside the box. If they had sold debit cards - free, only that if you confimr your registration with them via SMS the Debit Card gets activated and they earn RM15 for every activation. Its a way of improving Saving Efforts via Debit Card is more marketable message. Now I wonder why the banks are not as aggressive in promoting Debit Cards….wierd.

>>>yea.. using pretty girls is always a good sales advantage for companie.. makes you drool..hahahah.. and in the philiphines, the sales girls greets girls beforee they greet the man. Sometimes, I feel I am invincible coz they only say “Good morning mam”..

>>>I’d love to have a debit card.. but yalah.. they don’t promote it. Its really ashame coz debit cards like the debit Mastercard is really something!
