I guess its high time for me to update my blog. Yes, I know its only been two days.. but still.. its like I’ve abandoned this blog. Not that I ever plan to stop blogging. As long as I can earn something from my blog on a monthly basis, this blog would definitely be on. After all, I have already made a huge profit from this blog, even after I minus the server and domain rental cost, and the rich Teh C Peng I drink while blogging. Its just amazing how my blog has grown since I first started cdason[dot]com in September last year. Of course, this does not include my other blog which I now call Within Me, which still has a very healthy following despite majoring in Paid Post.

Anyway, I got a pleasant surprise from Nuffnangs this morning when I came home from work to take some books for class. Yea, I know, its working hours, but I need the books badly, and I just had to return to get them. I eventually ended up checking my gmail account and received this:

I have to admit, I never expected to get such an email. Look at the word which I colored in red!! SHORTLISTED AS ONE OF THE 100 BLOGGERS!! WOW!!! That was really huge!! Trust me, even tough this email seems to be forwarded to everyone, and lacks a personal touch, its still very flattering!

How often do you get to be in the top 100?? (I like to assume it in that way). My other blog, Simple Destinations was also listed as one of the top 10 blogs in the All Malaysian Bloggers Project (I couldn’t find proof of this, but what to do.. believe me, or not.. its up to you!). Seriously, if you are blogging without any niche, or without actually any reason except to open up to the world, and eventually get recognize about it.. the feeling is just awesome, and not mentioning extraordinary!

Hey, I know I’m no Kenny Sia. I wish I was. But then again, I think I like how I look, so.. Naaahhhh… I don’t wish I was Kenny Sia.. Maybe being Christiano Ronaldo might be better. After all, he has all those hot girls rooting for Man United despite not even knowing what ‘ayam‘ means in football. Yeah, that would be really something!

Err… I know this post seems like I’m kind of “masuk bakul, angkat sendiri“, or in English terms, bragging so much that you want to puke (kind of similar meaning, I guess..hahahha..).. but I do feel a great sense of pride for my blog, especially cdason[dot]com. The feeling is so much better than what I felt a few days ago when I was deprived of a the post ‘Data Teacher‘ in school despite already guaranteed the post by my boss. Arrrgghh.. even thinking of it makes me angry!!! For gawds sake, its a post!! With allowance!! With a chance of having a pay increase!!! I was promised the post, and all of a sudden, I was replaced… aaaRRRRRRrrrrgghHHHHHhhhhhhh!!!!

hmm.. whatever la.. I have to accept whats has been done. After all, I just started working.. I still have other stuff to get, to do.. and with blogging doing its part in generating an income for me.. I just can’t help but smile, although, I do wish I’d have better luck….
