so, I’ve got a new hope.. VOTE FORE cdason[dot]com!!! hahha.. please..pretty please with a cherry on top??.. hahha.. Guys, seriously.. VOTE for this site. This post is suppose to come out exactly at 12midnight, when the years switch places. but I decided it should come out by the 31st of December 2007.

To be honest, I never like new years. I spent most of my new years either in front of the TV set, staring at how other people celebrate the switch of the year, or sometimes with my family doing the usual BBQ. I guess, this year is one of those new years that I will be spending with my family because my dad has asked me to come home for new year’s eve.

Its really not really how the new year is celebrated, but rather what the new year beholds. 2007 has marked a lot of new things for me. Whether I’ve been naughty or nice throughout the whole year of 2007, is really a good question to ask. I don’t know what would be the best answer. All I can say is that I wished the year hadn’t end. I kind of like 2007, and more importantly, I feel that I haven’t done that much in 2007. To mark what I’ve done in 2007, here’s the list:

• Restarted blogging
• Won an award through the Robotics’s team
• Got out of Malaysia for the first time!! Went to the Republic of the Philiphines!
• Attended my first blogger’s gathering
• Got myself a new laptop.
• Started to wear perfume..heheh..
• Stayed alone in MY OWN APARTMENT for the first time!! Read it out loud, MY OWN APARTMENT!! hhahaha
• Got my very own TV set.
• Got myself two insurance, three if I include my motorcycle insurance
• Invested in 3 different unit trust which is not managed by PNB.
• Taught Geography for the first time.
• Went to all major PC Fair’s in Kuching City
• Got disappointed with Boulevard Shopping Mall
• Registered myself as a valid Malaysian voter
• Went to Poring Hot Springs, Sabah
• Decided that Vodka Lime is my favourite alcoholic drink
• Got my very first credit card

Hmm.. that’s quite a long list.. but I still feel that the year is not complete. I don’t know why I just get that feeling that its not over. Maybe its my job, or maybe its just something I missed out. Beat’s me…

So, what about 2008? I know personally that I have never been that good n doing or completing any of my new year resolutions. But I think, for next year… I’d like to at least do the following:

• Get a car
• Go to Thailand, Brunei and Macau.. or Australia.. Go somewhere la..
• Work hard, impress my boss… hahahah…
• re-organise my apartment to make it more ‘homely’.
• Win something at the National Robotics competition

Ermm.. well, that’s about all I can think about at the moment. Like I said, I’m not really good at making a new year resolution. I guess at the end of 2008, I might still not achieve what I have written.. hahaha… but what the hell.. its the thought that counts I guess…

Oh ya.. before I forget, I’d like to introduce ‘cdason.com - 2008 grand edition’ which is the new skin/template for my blog. I’m sure you guys have got used to in since I have been using it for a month (the whole of December 2007) for testing purposes. But since its new year.. I thought.. “why not make it special??”.. so here is my favourite and newly tweaked blog!! If your lazy to roam around the blog and wonder what’s new.. here’s a good list for you:

• Most commenter (so now you guys can fight to gain the top spot!!)
• Subscription to comments/post (Now, don’t complain that you don’t know when there is a reply to your comment!)
• More adsense links (so that I can earn more $$.. duhhh…)
• Blog stats are made available so that you know how much I’ve blogged
• A Google search bar (I thought it might come in handy for you guys)
• More pages… like “terms of use“, “my ultimate wishlist” and the others..
• and of course a new fresh colour which looks really professional and cool!!

Oh ya, did I mention that the new look also comes with a new meaning to the name ‘cdason.com’?? Well, I’ve decided that cdason.com = cyrildason[dot]com… just to state the obvious. hahaha.. enjoy the new look, and do, by any means available, leave a comment so that I could improve the look of the blog.
