Empty Apartment

Just like other schools… my school used the replacement of the Raya holidays to have its Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri. Its basically an event where students, parents and teachers come together and eat food they brought (pok-lak style). I did take a few pictures, but sadly, I maxed out my Flickr account for this month, and that means I have to use Multiply for the source of my photos. Tried to find other alternatives, but all were not as cool as Flickr (practically because it has that irritating multiply logo).

Anyway, I had a few photos, but poor lighting just made my pictures less attractive. Nonetheless, I think it is still worth sharing.

Hmm… I want to reorganise my room actually, or rather my whole apartment. You see, I always feel ashamed to invite anyone over because I always leave it anyway I like, as in messy. I do clean up once a while, but its far from visitation state. The thing is, I really lack motivation to do any proper cleaning or re-arranging. I live alone, and therefore I don’t see the point of putting my TV in the living room. I also don’t see the reason to create a special room for studying or doing my work because I am all alone, and do as I like, when I want. I’d love to share a photo of my apartment, but like I said, I’m too ashamed of the conditions of my house.

To tell you the truth.. out of all my rooms, I only use one.. the master bedroom! The others are just empty rooms with nothing but dust, filling it. I just wonder when I could really make use of all of those rooms. At this moment, I eat, sleep, watch TV, watch movies, blog and do my work in my room. Just like when I was in university. I really envy those people whom has 5 star apartments which look so elegant on TV. Something like this:

The fact is, it is not how much your place cost, but how well you can maintain it… and at this current moment, I just totally suck at cleaning up, basically because I don’t like doing so and prefer doing it the easy way. Anyway, my disgust over cleaning up and re-arranging stuff hasn’t stopped my boss from appointing me to join her team for the 5S (the Japanese thing for susun, sisih..and whatever crap) thingy, which makes my proposed job allocation for next year jump from 4 this year, to a massive 9 next year *sigh*.

Well.. I guess that’s all for today, and since this post is entitled “Empty Apartment” why not listen to the song Empty Apartment from Yellowcard (which is also my ringtone) which I uploaded as my featured clip this week, or you could go to this address. Cheers!!
