I am wondering what I should write about. Part of me wants to say something on Lee Kuan Yew’s recent comments, in which he says he would like Malaysia and Singapore to be re-united.

Nonetheless, I feel that Malaysia is better off without Singapore. After all, Malaysia does have an upper hand at the moment, and we should reserve all the ‘specialty‘ we have for the development of our very own nation, especially bringing in the gap between the peninsular states with Sabah and Sarawak. I think, thats all I should say about this matter… You guys might wanna share what you think.

 

On a lighter note, I am just relishing the prospect to watch House MD Episode 3. Its really getting interesting, and I can’t wait to see what would happen next. Will House get a new team?? ArrrrGGGggggHHHHHH!! I just can’t wait!! I wished the download could go faster. Anyways, to facilitate the download, I had to leave home for a few hours, just so that I don’t shut down the torrent to surf the net (you guys know pretty well that torrents and surfing don’t go well together, especially if you are on TMNet’s RM66 package) *annoyed*. Anyway, you guys could glance to the 1st sidebar on the right, and place a vote for your fav TV show. I’m running the poll till November/December I guess… We’ll see. Do vote tough..

Icon of Sarawak. DUN Sarawak is almost ready…

Its been actually a while since I’ve drove around Kuching. Therefore, old development/stuff seems new to me. I noticed the DUN is taking shape… and judging from its roof, I can guess that it would be something really iconic for Kuching and Sarawak. If you have a sharp eye, you would certainly notice the roof which seems extraordinary!! I took a few minutes to actually enjoy the uniqueness of the DUN Sarawak. Too bad I don’t have a DSLR camera, which could take a better picture.

 

Buhbye you old Junk!!!! Gone is the ‘eye sore’ of Padang Merdeka

 

A few steps away, I noticed that the abandoned building beside Padang Merdeka being demolished. So, Plaza Merdeka would be a reality!!! CoooLLL!! I always hated this old abandoned junk which really was an eye sore for a beautiful city like Kuching. Its really about time. Now I wonder if Kuching could sustain another shopping mall?? With The Spring and Boulevard already near completion, I wonder whether Plaza Merdeka could sing songs of success after its completion. At the moment, I feel that 2 shopping malls would do wonders for Kuching, but 3??? I’m just skeptical… People in Kuching love to eat… but shop, I have yet to see.

I also bumped into an old friend, Tan (always called him by his last name). He was as chirpy as usual.. and was just his old self. It kind of reminds me about those old days when we were still students, playing around like there is nothing to worry about.*sigh* How time flies.. I’m now working, and he is in the midst of completing his Masters. I asked him to hang out sometime, with Jeremy and I, but I really don’t know if that could happen. *sad* Everyone is busy these days. When I am free, my friends are not… It makes life really seem so EMPTY!
I’m no teacher of the month… but there are times I enjoy my work

Erm.. since I’m on holidays, I think I’ll head home to my parents house tomorrow and stay there. Most of my colleagues have left for their respective ‘kampungs‘ and I think its time I did so too. Kind of miss going to work. You know.. it really gets to you… I mean, being a teacher. I hate the hours, especialy waking up early… doing extra work, multi-tasking… but I do love teaching students, meeting with them… mingling with them… It just brightens the day. How I wish I just could do that, without all those administrative jobs we are burdened with. Owh, I guess, now is the best time for the ministry to motivate teacher…

Err.. Am I expecting too much??
