I have watched 3 TV series premiers so far… The first Heroes (Season 2), second was House (Season 4), and third was Smallville (Season 7), and surprisingly, I found Smallville making a better comeback that the other two.

Frankly, I never expected Smallville to match or beat Heroes and House, especially when it comes to premiers, but it was just disappointing to see that Heroes decides to include more super humans, instead of concentrating on the current few they already have. In a way, this makes the the pool of actors for Heroes grow undeniably big! Maybe its me who is wrong to expect so much from Heroes, I mean, after the 1st season, I expected more plots on Sylar (the villain), and Peter Petrelli which incidentally blew himself up. Nonetheless, I ended up watching some new heroes with flying abilities, electrical abilities, and also killing abilities. The ending was really not impressive! I was not left wanting more as the premier ended, and part of me still wondered what actually happened after Peter blew himself up. Did he die?? Did Sylar die?? What are the abilities of Muhinder? Oh ya.. whats with the new ‘flying man’???

House on the other hand picked up where it left. I admit, the start was just awesome. It really didn’t cross my mind that the building would collapse!! The disappointing part is actually to see no likes of Dr Chase, Cameroon and Foreman with House. It kind of makes the series kind of Boring with a capital B! Nonetheless, the ending of this series proved rather cool as House seems to have decided to select a new pool of people for his medical team, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that his former team would be back (basically because their names are still in the intro).

Smallville.. Now this is a surprise.. Never expected it to be that explosive. The part where we find out Chloe has the power to heal, and died before being self resurrected.. really COOL!!! The part when some sexy chick saves Lex with powers equivalent to Clark Kent?? MAGNIFICENT!! The part where Lex turns himself in?? UNPREDICTABLE.. and what about Lana being in Shanghai, China?? WOW! And did I mention about the cool song played before the episode ends?? Reminds me a lot on One Tree Hill! With questions from the past episode being answered, new questions emerge… such as what is Lana doing in Shanghai?? What happens to Lionel? and who’s the new sexy super hero?? Just can’t wait for it to be answered!

Oh ya.. I forgot to mention.. if you haven’t watched these series premiers.. don’t read this as it will be a great spoiler… hehehhahahhaha… Cheers!!
